
I like how the tree came out. The leaves (or blossoms?) were originally roses on an upholstery remnant. I used a bright pink thread and dense quilting to brighten them a bit more. I left the branches unquilted, which gives them a bit of dimension.

Beautiful! Of course, can't tell details, but it looks gorgeous. Just found your blog recently and like that you're so good about blogging your progress. That's my goal for this year! :-)
I'm working on several quilts at the moment: two African memory quilts using some things I brought back from our year in Uganda, three small pictorial wall quilts that will be gifts for good friends, and a portrait quilt of a niece...I like to have a few different projects going so I don't get bored :-)
