Deadlines are great for getting projects done. I wasn’t very inspired by my latest project, so I procrastinated on quilting it. I like it now that it’s finished. Some white paint was added after the quilting was completed. And it was completed just in time to enter into a juried show.
I LOVE this quilt! Well done! I'm so glad to be part of FFFC, but I scrambled last month so my piece was mediocre at best. But let me say again -- this is FABULOUS! Love the gentle transition between the colors and the composition is great.
Oh, Linda...this one turned out just GREAT! I love the moon and the leaves in front of it and the color changes in the leaves. It is just wonderful! WOW is all I can say!!!
On this blog you will find my latest textile art, my inspirations, and processes. I have always loved drawing, painting, sewing, and creating. I've been sewing nearly as long as I can remember. I majored in Computer Science in college, but took many painting and drawing classes as well. I started pursuing my art more seriously when I discovered that I could combine it with the quilting skills I had acquired. Textile art has been a wonderful way to combine many of things that I love.

What show are you putting it in?
