Sea Glass I & II
9 x 12½
I was concerned that the dense quilting in the white areas would make the “glass” part of the quilt pucker. A heavy interfacing behind the batting seems to have worked well to prevent this.

I think the quilting is perfectly complimentary! I love both of these.
I have some older Hoffman fabric that looks like shallow water over sand. I was thinking that would be perfect for appliqueing beach glass. Could even cover it with something watercolored and sheer as well. But, I do like the white one - quilting looks perfect to me.
Your art is all exquisite. I saw them all. Lots of inspiration here as I am an art quilter too.
Both quilts captured my attention; both are very pleasing with their balance, one with quilting and the other with color. What creativity you have! My daughter works with stained glass and will also enjoy these. Thank you for sharing with us. Kathleen

Meanwhile: Your Seaglass pieces are wonderful, and well named!
